A single line deformed by its own weight, a reminiscence of a bird which flaps its wings gently toward the horizon. The movement of this mobile is created by the flexibility of the carbon steel in relation to the balancing weight.

Designer 

Jean Besson is a Paris based designer. Besides collaborating with architects on furniture design, he also experiments with balance in his work. This particular state of an object leads him to question the properties of the material and to work by subtraction rather than addition, a process that stimulates imagination and where the function remains ambiguous.
