Crafted in Mashiko, the Heart of Folk Art
This jar is crafted in Mashiko, Tochigi Prefecture, a region renowned for its folk art. Created in collaboration with Inoue Ceramics, known for their everyday pottery, it features the unique "Kaki-glaze" on the inside. Traditionally used for roof tiles and water jars, this glaze is exceptionally water-resistant and durable.

Using two traditional Mashiko glazes, this jar showcases the unique beauty of ceramics. The combinations include "Celadon and Black," "Rice-husk White and Amber," and "Black and Rice-husk White," creating unexpected and beautiful patterns.
