Kenzan For IKEBANA

$20

Kenzan (剣山) features a high-density base with brass nails arranged in a precise, regular pattern. The upward-pointing nails hold stems securely for flower arrangements.

Its compact size makes the base nearly invisible, allowing the flowers to take center stage.

Using a Kenzan instead of plastic foam reduces material waste. It is reusable and eco-friendly. A high-quality Kenzan will never rust and can be used for many years.

Smart tip: Before arranging flowers, make a cross-cut at the end of the branch. This helps expand the insertion area, distributes the pressure, and minimizes damage to the Kenzan.

To use, place the Kenzan in a flower container and add water until the needles are fully submerged. Then, start arranging.

Flowers arranged with a Kenzan absorb water more efficiently than those inserted into floral foam, helping them stay fresh longer.
